My mom found a lump in her breast about a week and a half ago...she went to the doc who sent her to get a mammogram. She got the news this morning that they found a 'suspicious lesion' and they're sending her to get an ultrasound biopsy on June 13th.
She's had a false alarm before....about 10 years ago, but it was nothing. This, may or may not be....nothing. But it's early. She went to her OB a month ago, and she didn't find anything....
But, please, pray for her. Her name is Cathy. Thank you all. God bless.

I will pray for her, also. My mother had a similar situation, but we prayed and the lump vanished before the surgery.
Sometimes the milk ducts become blocked. It's still a scary thing. I am so sorry this has occurred. :o(

they moved it up

There was a opening at the hospital so they moved it up to tomorrow afternoon. They say results take anywhere from 1 to 5 days, so we're hoping to hear by friday. Part of me is glad they moved it up, at least we won't be going crazy with all the what if's going through our minds, but another part of me is wondering why they're being so aggressive and pushing it up so soon...we'll see.
